Angara Airlines Flight 2311

Angara Airlines Flight 2311 was a scheduled flight from Ignatyevo Airport (BQS) in Blagoveshchensk to Tynda, Russia. Tragically, the AN-124 aircraft crashed about 16 kilometers from Tynda Airport and caught fire, claiming the lives of all 48 passengers on board.

The flight was operated by Siberia-based Angara Airlines. It had departed as planned, but the aircraft went down during its approach to Tynda.

Poor visibility during landing is currently being considered a possible cause of the crash.

Air India flight AI171

On Thursday, June 12, 2025,  Air India flight AI171 crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (IATA: AMD, ICAO: VAAH), en route to London Gatwick. Unverified videos circulating online appear to show the aircraft going down in a residential area just seconds after takeoff. While there is no official confirmation yet on casualties, reports indicate that approximately 242 people on board, including 2 pilots and 10 crew members.
According to Air India official out of 242 passengers, there were 169 Indian nationals, 53 British nationals, 1 Canadian national and 3 Portuguese nationals.
A “mayday” call was issues shortly after take off before the aircraft crashed into a hostel building for doctors. According to the reports, all 242 passengers have died in the crash marking the first Boeing 787 crash as one of the most deadliest plane crash in aviation.

Delta Connection Flight 4819

On Monday, February 17, 2025, Delta Connection Flight 4819 crashed while landing at  Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada. The aircraft overturned and engulfed in fire after touchdown. One wing of the aircraft was separated and the fuselage came to rest upside down on the side of the runway.

18 passengers were injured including one child.

Delta Airlines has offered $30,000 to each passenger on Delta Connection Flight 4819 as compensation.

Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and Flight Data Recorder (FDR) of Delta Connection Flight 4819 were recovered on February 18, 2025 and investigation is underway to find the cause of the plane crash.

PHILADELPHIA Medical Plane Crash

On Friday, January 31, 2025, a medevac (Medical Evacuation) plane crashed soon after take off from Philadelphia airport. The medical aircraft was carrying a child patient and 5 other passengers.

The passengers included 4 crew members, a child patient and patient’s mother.

American Airlines Flight 5342

On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, a tragic incident occurred at Washington’s  Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport when an American Airlines official website CRJ-701ER collided with an US Army UH-60 Black hawk helicopter during landing.

The regional jet took off from Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport official website, Kansas with 60 passengers and 4 crew members and was on final approach when collided with US Army UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter.

The US Army Black hawk helicopter with callsign PAT25 (Priority Air Transport) had departed Fort Belvoir for a training flight with 3 US military personnel onboard.

Both aircraft collided midair and fell into the Potomac river. The CRJ-701ER split into half and the black hawk helicopter fell in to the river upside down.

All 67 passengers on board (64 on the airliner, 3 on the helicopter) died in the accident making it the deadliest aviation accident since American Airlines flight 587.

All take offs and landings were halted at  following the midair collision.
